Krav Maga Instructor Certification for Roman Jochle from Germany. Roman was presented with his Krav Maga Instructor Cert by Gerry Nolan Chief Instructor. Roman has been training Krav Maga for over 3 years during winter trips to Thailand from Germany. Roman trained very hard during 3 months of private one on one Krav Maga training with Gerry, here in Pattaya, Thailand. Roman already is an experienced martial artist, holding a black belt in Karate, and he is also a certified Muay Thai Instructor, and he is our first German Krav Maga instructor.

Krav Maga Instructor training is very challenging and aside from excellent technique, instructors must be able to successfully defend unarmed and armed attacks using Krav Maga self defence under stressful, full speed, full contact Krav Maga training drills. We use protective gear, body protectors, head gear, and groin guards which allows us to do all hand to hand combat moves, knife defence, krav  maga weapons defense, and gun disarms, which are all done full power to test our Krav Maga self defense techniques.

Everyone is welcome to train Krav Maga with us when you visit Pattaya, Thailand. You can train in our group class several times a week, but if you want to excel and really learn Krav Maga then we suggest private one on one training with Krav Maga Instructor Gerry Nolan. Ron has been training with us for over 5 years in Krav Maga. Ron has nearly 40 years experience in self defence martial arts, he is a 2nd Dan Black Belt Ju-Jitsu and 1st Dan Black Belt Judo, boxing experience, 20+ years working security/bouncer in tough nightclubs in London, and former London Junior Power Lifting Champion. Ron’s grade is certified with the BCA British Combat Association. Ron is 60 years old, and he trains in martial arts everyday of the week, he is in top shape, an excellent fighter, and an inspiration to us all.

Krav Maga Instructor Course is for experienced martial artists who want to learn Krav Maga Tactical Combatives curriculum and become a Krav Maga Instructor.

Upon completion of and successfully passing the Krav Maga Instructor Certification Course you will be graded to Krav Maga Instructor.

Krav Maga Tactical Combat Krav Maga Instructor Course will be held at Kombat Muay Thai MMA Gym Pattaya Thailand on the dates of 23 – 27 March 2013.

Krav Maga Lesson – Knife Defense Default Position Krav Maga.

Krav Maga knife attack defence using the default position which is a new knife defence innovation which we are now using in our Krav Maga Tactical Combat here at Krav Maga Thailand. The default position defense has proven in full contact live pressure tests to be more effective than the traditional Krav Maga 360 defence which leads into knife defense. Multiple full contact live pressure tests which have been tracked and analysed have proven this.

You can see from the video that we train our Krav Maga knife defense full contact full on and hard, that is my nose that gets busted at the end of the video.

It is essential to have the capability to protect oneself from stabbing edged weapons knife attacks. The goal is always survival and escape. We certainly recognize that there is no perfect and no guaranteed knife defense however we must have something to minimize injury to ourselves, maximize the ability to protect ourselves, and escape a street attack fast.

This drill represents how Krav Maga must be trained for it to be an effective reality self defense martial art which will be optimal for violent street attacks.

Krav Maga Thailand is delighted to announce that the next Itay Gil Krav Maga Seminar and Krav Maga Instructor Course will be help on the 12th to 16th October 2013 here in Pattaya, Thailand. This is an intensive 5 day seminar where you will train in Krav Maga with world famous Israeli Krav Maga expert Itay Gil who featured on the Human Weapon Krav Maga documentary. Itay Gil served in top Israeli counter terror Yamam Unit and other special force units and he has extensive experience using Krav Maga in real life situations, and in training it to the top Israeli combat units.

The Itay Gil Krav Maga Seminar will begin on Wednesday 12 October until Saturday 16 October 2013  in Pattaya, Thailand at our training location in Kombat Muay Thai Camp.

Krav Maga Instructor Certification with Itay Gil will run over the 5 day seminar. Instructor certification is open to those with several years experience in striking based martial art systems

Krav Maga Instructor Certification recently at Kombat Group Pattaya with high level top Australians Martial Artists from Zen Do Kai Bob Jones Martial Arts Australia. It was a real honour and privilege for me to train such top and experienced martial artists. In the photo is with Robert Grantham, Billy Manne, Christian Daghio World Champion Muay Thai and Kombat Director, Gerry Nolan Chief Krav Maga Instructor,  Andrew Barram and Matthew Ball.
Everyone trained very hard over the duration of the Krav Maga Instructor Course and really excelled at the techniques. All the guys are highly experienced martial artists and self defence practitioners. Billy Manne is a Master of Martial Arts who is 8th Dan in Bob Jones Zen Do Kai, a top real world self defense expert and indeed a legend in the Australian martial arts scene, Bob Jones right hand man who both were bodyguards to the Rollins Stones, Fleetwood Mac and a host of major international stars,  and is known world wide his wealth of martial arts and real world combat experience.
Now these top instructors plan to incorporate Krav Maga into their own self defence seminars on armed weapons defences  and unarmed combat down in Australia.

Gerry Nolan presents Krav Maga Instructor Certification to Diego Rossi from Rome, Italy.

Krav Maga Thailand offers  congratulations to Diego Rossi of Master Team Pro-Fighters from Rome, Italy who passed his Krav Maga Instructor Certification Course under Gerry Nolan Krav Maga Instructor at Kombat Group here in Pattaya Thailand.

Diego who is an experienced martial artist, kickboxer and former fighter, with decades of martial arts experience, spent 3 weeks intensive one to one personal Krav Maga training with instructor Gerry Nolan, where all unarmed and armed Krav Maga techniques were taught and later pressure tested with full contact live drills.

After many hours of hard training, sweat and bruises Diego Rossi successfully passed his Krav Maga Instructor Certification with flying colours.

We wish Diego all the success with his new Krav Maga training program which he will shortly launch in Rome, Italy.
